What is CiviSites?
CiviSites is built on Drupal and CiviCRM. It's a fully managed service to provide the power of CiviCRM to organizations that don't want consultancy and customizations but just want to start using CiviCRM.
It's OpenSaaS, so it all belongs to you and you can take it away any time you like to host anywhere else you like.
Can I have a custom domain?
Yes. We will need to do some additional setup and organise a secure certificate for your domain so there will be a slight delay and a small additional charge in implementing this.
We have some complex requirements can it cope?
CiviCRM is an incredibly flexible platform but if your workflows demands something beyond the scope of configuration through the User Interface, we can help you add customizations. In this case we'd move you from CiviSites to our premium hosting environment. In this case contact firstname.lastname@example.org
What web browsers work with CiviSites?
Do I have to sign a long term contract?
No. CiviSites is a pay-as-you-go service. There are no long term contracts or commitments on your part. You simply pay month-to-month. If you cancel, you'll be billed for the current month, and that's it.
What types of payment do you accept?
We take payment by Direct Debit when you sign up. We can also take card payments and PayPal.
Can you help import my data?
Yes – we offer a data migration service although we recommend you undertake as much cleansing and checking as you can in-house before this. Please contact us on email@example.com for data migration.
What about support and training?
There are extremely helpful CiviCRM forums.
And there are various general user groups and training sessions for CiviCRM organised around the world. You'll find details posted on civicrm.org.
However, if you need some specific help then please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll arrange anything from a one-hour remote desktop sharing session on configuring events to a whole day or more at your premises going through the entire administrative interface. For more general ongoing support, we can arrange a support contract that gives access to our ticketed and phone support.
